The Semi Pendant Light provides compact elegance with its arch-shaped enamelled metal shade that creates directional, diffused lighting. Its glossy dark cocoa finish offers rich sophistication, while the curved design optimizes light output. The metal construction delivers reliable performance and the semi-circular silhouette adds refined style.
The Semi Pendant Light was designed in 1968 by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup for a competition put on by the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. It won first prize and quickly became a best-selling Danish design with worldwide recognition. Its distinctive arch-shape and enamelled metal shade creates a diffused, cone-shaped light, ideal for over a dining table or kitchen work surface.
