The Porto tall tapered lamp shade combines a slender silhouette with hand-marbled paper produced through a traditional craft process. Paints and oils are carefully dropped onto thickened water, raked into patterns, and transferred onto paper that is then dried to set the design. The gold and white colouring creates a shimmering, one-of-a-kind surface, as no two sheets can ever be identical. Due to the smaller surface area required for this marbling technique, the shade is finished with two seams.
