The Porto tall tapered lamp shade features a candle clip fitting and a hand-marbled paper exterior produced through a centuries-old craft technique. Paints and oils are dropped onto thickened water, raked into intricate patterns, and transferred onto paper that is then removed and dried to preserve the design. The gold and white marbling creates a shimmering, naturally varied surface, with no two shades ever sharing the same pattern. Due to the smaller surface area required for this marbling process, the shade is finished with two seams.
