The Baronet Superb mattress features hand-formed honeycomb-nested pocket springs upholstered in horsehair needle-teased onto hessian and enclosed in a hair-proof cambric cover. Bonded British fleece wool and cotton overlays the spring unit, while the border is finished with protective wool and piped ticking. Hand tufting with felt washers and two rows of genuine hand side-stitching contribute to the mattress's structural integrity, with air vents on all sides supporting airflow. The 1,326 individually pocketed 1.52mm wire springs sit within a 21cm deep construction covered in fine Belgian ticking.
