The Baronet Superb mattress combines hand-formed honeycomb-nested pocket sp... rings with horsehair upholstery needle-teased onto hessian and enclosed in a hair-proof cambric cover. Bonded British fleece wool and cotton layering sits above the spring unit, while the border is upholstered in protective wool and finished with piped ticking. Each mattress is hand tufted with felt washers and features two rows of genuine hand side-stitching, with air vents on all sides for breathability. The 1.52mm wire springs are individually sewn into calico pockets, totalling 1,326 springs, and the whole construction is covered in fine Belgian ticking at 21cm deep.Read more
