The 16cm empire shade features Tussah slub silk in layered tones of orange, coral, and raspberry, woven in the traditional Indian style by wild Antheraea silkworms. Its hand-woven construction produces natural slubs and textural irregularities that give the fabric a thicker, more characterful handle than cultivated silk. A golden sheen inherent to the Tussah fibre allows the shade to diffuse light with a warm, luminous quality.
