The GP & J Baker Little Magnolia empire lamp shade features a botanical floral print rooted in the tradition of antique hand-painted Chinese wall panels, first introduced in 1913. The straight empire silhouette is constructed in linen, with two-coloured taping trim that picks out tones from the pattern. Its 50cm diameter suits larger light fittings where the detailed print can be fully appreciated.
This exuberant pattern is in the tradition of the flowering trees to be found in antique hand painted Chinese wall panels, and has become a design classic from the mighty G P & J Baker stable. Since its launch in 1913 it has never been out of print - a Charles Dickens of the decorative print world, if you will.
