The AJ floor lamp combines geometric form with functional lighting, featuring a tiltable shade that allows direct adjustment of light distribution. Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1957, its angular silhouette reflects the architectural contours associated with his building designs. The white finish gives the shade a graphic, defined appearance against its surroundings. Supplied with an EU plug; bulb not included.
Emanating an ultra-modern mood over half a century since its inception, the 'AJ' floor lamp is an iconic statement in lighting design. Created in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, the lamp first appeared in the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957 as part of a lighting story told throughout the hotel by world-renowned architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. Radiating personality, and recalling the geometric contours of Jacobsen buildings, the white version of this prominent feature light — whose shade can be tilted to adjust light distribution — adds a graphic, forward-focused feel to any space. Supplied with an EU plug. The bulb is not included.
