The pendant lamp features hand-blown glass construction with a distinctive bubble-textured surface that creates a matte finish. Its artisan-crafted sphere design provides gentle light diffusion, while the rough texture adds visual depth and slight opacity. The polypropylene cord net encases the glass shade, offering both protection and decorative appeal for versatile lighting applications.
A classic sphere that continues a glass blowing tradition, Cassina's 'Bollicosa' pendant lamp is a celebration of all the complexities and nuances that arise from the production technique. One such characteristic is a surface texture defined by the bubbles of the artisan's blow, which is present here and offers a rough and matte effect that also brings a slight opacity to the fumé and green lamp, which is enveloped by a polypropylene cord net in this outdoor version of the light source.
