The VL45 Radiohus pendant lamp combines heritage design with modern craftsmanship, featuring a brass suspension and three-layer mouthblown glass shade with softened corners. Its layered transparent and white glass construction ensures smooth, even light distribution, while the downward-directed illumination creates focused ambient lighting. The brass hardware adds durability and classic appeal, and the fixture comes with a US plug for easy installation.
The 'VL45 Radiohus' pendant light was conceived in the 1940s by Vilhelm Lauritzen in collaboration with Louis Poulsen for Danish Broadcasting House, Radiohuset. The new generation design of this graphic heritage piece features the same brass suspension and three-layer, mouthblown glass shade, with graceful softened corners. Layering of transparent glass over white ensures the effusion of a smooth, even glow. Downward-directed light is then emitted from the opening in the bottom of the shade. Supplied with a US plug. The bulb is not included.
