The Cedrus Liban sculpture captures the form of the Lebanese Cedar at a 1:100 scale, crafted in burnished iron with an all-black finish. Its branching 'chandelier' canopy and dense foliage silhouette create atmospheric shadows and a sense of depth when displayed. The burnished iron construction suits both indoor and outdoor placement, and multiple pieces can be arranged together to form a grouped woodland composition. With an ambition to reproduce all of the world's trees at a scale of 1:100, the 'Cedrus Liban' sculpture pays homage to the natural world, and can be placed inside or out, where it creates atmospheric shadows and a sense of depth and drama. The all-black composition recalls the tree at night, and enhances the silhouette of its 'chandelier' canopy and dense foliage. Trees can be placed together to form a wood, which can be populated through time with newly crafted species.
