Aalto Bowl 50.4 cm - Rose Gold, Steel

The Aalto bowl's irregular, wave-inspired line, drawn from the 1936 Aalto vase, gives this rose gold steel piece a striking presence. At 50.4 cm, it makes a bold centerpiece for fruit or decorative objects, while still working as a refined accent in the living room. Available in several sizes and shapes within the Aalto range, it can also be combined into a contemporary grouping. Dimensions: W50.4 x D50.4 x H10 cm.

The presented steel bowl in rose gold is a bowl belonging to the iconic Aalto collection by Iittala. Its distinctive line, alluding to irregular waves of water, takes its cue from the vase of the same name designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto in 1936. The platter will work well both individually and as a set - as a striking vessel for fruit as well as for trinkets such as jewellery - and is sure to be an unusual decoration for the living room. The bowl is available in several versions, differing not only in size, but also in shape, making them an extremely intriguing and modern set.
