Aalto Bowl 50.4 cm - Silver, Steel

The steel Aalto bowl features an irregular, wave-like line that echoes the 1936 Aalto vase from which the collection originates. Its generous 50.4 cm diameter provides room for fruit or decorative objects, while the polished silver finish adds a striking accent to the living room. The bowl can be used individually or alongside other pieces in the range, which come in varying sizes and shapes. Its sculptural form makes it suitable for both display and everyday use.

The presented steel bowl in silver is a bowl belonging to the iconic Aalto collection by Iittala. Its distinctive line, reminiscent of irregular waves of water, takes its origins from the vase of the same name designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto in 1936. The platter will work well both individually and as a set - as a striking vessel for fruit as well as for trinkets such as jewellery - and is sure to be an unusual decoration for the living room. The bowl is available in several versions, differing not only in size, but also in shape, making them an extremely intriguing and modern set.
