Baburu Large Decorative Bowl - Birch, Ceramic

The Baburu bowl features continuous, soft, rounded lines formed in two joined parts, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese bowl design. Hand-glazed in a hushed birch tone, the ceramic construction gives each piece a subtly unique finish due to natural variation in the glazing process. Its generous size suits both functional use for storing organic material and standalone display. Crafted entirely from natural materials using artisanal methods, no two bowls are identical.

A response to traditional Japanese bowl design, Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl’s vision for 101 Copenhagen, the big 'Baburu' bowl — Japanese for bubble — is presented in hand-glazed ceramic in a hushed birch-color. The piece can be used for storing organic material, or simply be displayed for its quiet but extraordinary singular beauty. Made artisanally, from entirely natural material, each bowl is unique, which may result in some variation in color.
