The Baronet Superb mattress provides a soft-tension sleep surface built around hand-formed honeycomb-nested pocket springs upholstered in horsehair needle-teased onto hessian and enclosed in a hair-proof cambric cover. Bonded and blended British fleece wool and cotton layers sit above the spring unit, with the border upholstered in protective wool and finished with piped ticking. The 21cm depth incorporates two rows of genuine hand side-stitching and hand tufting with felt washers, while air vents on all sides aid ventilation. Each 1.52mm wire spring is individually sewn into a calico pocket and hand-formed into honeycomb-nested units for even weight distribution.
