The Baronet Superb mattress features hand-formed honeycomb-nested pocket springs upholstered in horsehair needle-teased onto hessian and enclosed in a hair-proof cambric cover. Layers of bonded and blended British fleece wool and cotton provide the medium-tension comfort layer, while the border is finished with protective wool and piped ticking. At 21cm deep, the construction includes two rows of genuine hand side-stitching and hand tufting with felt washers, with air vents on all sides supporting airflow. The 1.52mm wire springs are sewn into individual calico pockets and hand-formed into honeycomb-nested units throughout.
