Luisa Small Armchair - Black, American Walnut

The Luisa armchair features a suspended plane design with its geometric seat and back held by an American Walnut wood structure. Designed by Franco Albini over 15 years of development, the construction channels structural efficiency through its essential components. The black upholstery pairs with the walnut frame, while the refined construction earned the piece the Compasso D'Oro prize from the Italian Industrial Design Association.

Albini's mission to dedicate himself to creating an archetype in which the core elements of the structure respond to various possible uses in the home led to the creation of a chair where the seat and the back are two geometric planes suspended on a simple wood structure.
