The Scarlet Arrows empire lamp shade features hand painted card construction, with each piece carrying subtle variations in brushwork and a lightly mottled finish that result from the hand painting process. Its 30cm empire form provides a broader silhouette than the tapered version, while the scarlet arrow motif adds graphic detail to the painted surface. The card material keeps the shade lightweight, and the unique character of each unit means no two shades are identical.
We love our hand painted shades. Each one is unique, and somehow the little imperfections in the paint work, and the slightly mottled look, add to the...well... perfection. Achingly simple, and in no way showy or brash, these gorgeous shades will feel at home in almost any environment.
