The GP & J Baker Tuffley empire shade features a mid-19th century botanical print originally conceived for clothing textiles, bringing nature-inspired organic forms to a compact structured silhouette. The cotton fabric carries the 'Tuffley' pattern, internally codenamed 'seaweed', rendered in a red and aqua colourway that reflects the era's fascination with natural motifs. Its empire profile diffuses light evenly while the printed cotton construction adds visual texture and depth.
