The GP & J Baker Small Ikat Spot 35cm straight empire shade combines a linen construction with a seven-colour print that draws on the geometry and rhythm of traditional Ikat weaving. Developed as part of a collaboration with GP & J Baker, the design applies Baker's characteristic approach to colour and pattern to a classic textile reference. A two-coloured taping finish picks out tones directly from the print, adding a considered detail to the shade's lower edge.
Part of our fantastic collaboration with G P & J Baker, the small Ikat spot is a new design paying homage to the classic Ikat weave but adding the Baker genius for colour and geometry. These are seven colour prints and are subtle and bold in equal measure. Please note the two coloured taping, picking out colours from the pattern.
