The Foglia straight empire lamp shade features hand-marbled paper crafted through a centuries-old technique, where paints and oils are dropped onto thickened water, then raked and stretched into distinctive patterns. Each sheet is individually laid onto the surface and lifted, ensuring no two shades carry the same design. The straight empire silhouette of this 40cm shade provides a broad surface that displays the bold yellow and green Foglia marbling to full effect. The shade is constructed with two seams as part of its hand-crafted assembly.
