The 40cm straight empire lamp shade features a hand-painted card body with a scalloped lower edge, with each shade carrying its own unique variation in the painted finish due to the hand-applied process. The straight empire profile keeps an even width throughout, while the gold paintwork develops a naturally mottled appearance that distinguishes it from machine-finished alternatives. The scallop detailing along the base rim provides a subtle decorative element against the plain card construction.
