The 20cm empire lamp shade combines a hand painted scallop pattern with a card construction, producing a finish that varies naturally from piece to piece. The slight irregularities in the paintwork and softly mottled surface are inherent to the hand painting method, lending each shade an individual character. Its restrained empire shape and gold tone sit comfortably alongside varied lighting styles and interior schemes.
