Taken from a wider collection of lights that are evocative of sunlight at dawn when switched on, the lamp is defined by two components of blown glass — a ribbed and transparent outer layer, and a pearlescent inner piece that makes the light warm and diffused. Combined with these two pieces of glass, which are handblown by master glassmakers of Venice, is a metal base with a natural brass finish and a saddle leather strap with dyed tone-on-tone raw-edge seams.
