The Oriental Dream soup plate features four richly detailed temple scenes in black and white, encircled with hand-finished gold edging. A tessellated background recalling clouds and bells adds a graphic quality to the surface, while the deeper form suits soups, stews, and pasta dishes. The monochrome Chinoiserie-inspired design is part of the 'Souvenirs De Voyage' collection and can be combined with other pieces from the same series. Not dishwasher safe.
This decadent souo plate by Simone Guidarelli Home features four richly detailed temple scenes in black and white, encircled with hand-finished gold edging. A tessellated patterned background, recalling clouds and bells, brings a graphic, contemporary feel to the piece. Part of a series of tableware that renders far flung places in monochrome, the design is drawn directly from Guidarelli's maximalist wallpaper portfolio. Suitable for soups, stews and pasta dishes and inspired by the timeless appeal of Chinoiserie, the 'Oriental Dream' soup plate can be mixed and matched with other designs from the 'Souvenirs De Voyage' collection, or introduced into pared-black tablescapes as a statement in its own right. Not dishwasher safe.
