The Oriental Dream bread plate features four richly detailed temple scenes in black and white, encircled with hand-finished gold edging. A tessellated background recalling clouds and bells adds a graphic quality to the surface, while the monochrome palette draws directly from Guidarelli's maximalist wallpaper portfolio. Sold as a set of two, the plates are part of the 'Souvenirs De Voyage' collection and can be mixed and matched with other pieces from the same series. Not dishwasher safe.
This decadent bread plate by Simone Guidarelli Home features four richly detailed temple scenes in black and white, encircled with hand-finished gold edging. A tessellated patterned background, recalling clouds and bells, brings a graphic, contemporary feel to the piece. Part of a series of tableware that renders far flung places in monochrome, the design is drawn directly from Guidarelli's maximalist wallpaper portfolio. Inspired by the timeless appeal of Chinoiserie, the 'Oriental Dream' bread plate, which comes as a set of two, can be mixed and matched with other designs from the 'Souvenirs De Voyage' collection, or introduced into pared-black tablescapes as a statement in its own right. Not dishwasher safe.
