Ultima Thule Bowl - Glass

The Ultima Thule bowl features a heavy, elegant form whose glass is shaped in wooden moulds, giving each piece a subtly different texture as the mould is fired through the heated glass. Its decoration evokes the motif of water and ice, drawing on the Latin name for Greenland, and reflects the methods developed over the years by designer Tapio Wirkkala. The bowl is dishwasher safe, making it practical for everyday use as well as display.
