Rectangular Serving Tray with Sun Design - White, Porcelain

The serving tray combines unglazed porcelain construction with a sun movement bas-relief design at its center. Its rectangular shape offers versatile serving space, while the symbolic motif provides artistic appeal. The white porcelain surface ensures easy cleaning and maintenance, and the raised design element adds textural interest to the serving experience.

Inspired by Le Corbusier, Cassina has teamed up with both Ginori 1735 and the Le Corbusier Foundation to produce a series of three porcelain trays that incorporate symbolic bas-relief designs found in the city of Chandigarh. This unglazed rectangular tray features a depiction of the movement of the sun at its centre — a detail directly lifted from a design sketched by the Master in 1956.
