The Design Letters brand is a Danish company that, although a relatively young brand - established in 2009 - has already managed to win over design fans around the world. Key to its success has been the introduction of mugs and other crockery and accessories from Arne Jacobsen's Vintage ABC collection. The pieces in this collection were decorated with letter shapes hand-designed in 1937 by Arne Jacobsen himself - a legendary figure in world design and one of Denmark's most famous designers. The AJ collection also has a version for the youngest users of design, in which bone china has been replaced by safe and durable melamine. The lid with a spout shown here is suitable for AJ Kids melamine cups and is ideal for learning to drink on your own.
