The Cabbage With Lobsters tureen combines hand-painted ceramic craftsmanship with a sculptural cabbage-and-lobster design rooted in 19th-century Portuguese pottery tradition. Each piece is produced in the original Bordallo Pinheiro workshop using traditional ceramic techniques, resulting in detailed surface textures and vivid multicolor glazing. With a 2L capacity, the tureen functions as a statement serving vessel that coordinates with other pieces in the Cabbage With Lobsters collection.
Rustic Portuguese charm meets gourmet dining in this inspired tableware by Bordallo Pinheiro as the brand unites its adored cabbage collection with the lobster. Using traditional ceramic techniques, these verdant hand-painted pieces are made in the workshop where Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro first realized them in the nineteenth-century, playfully insisting that rustic Portuguese life be invited to dine with the bourgeoisie. Deliciously fun and dedicated to craftsmanship, the 'Cabbage with Lobsters' collection includes this 2L tureen, which can be completed with pieces from the rest of the family for a leafy, surreal statement.
