Trinity Centrepiece - Silver, Stainless Steel

The Trinity centrepiece features a sinuous spiral structure inspired by the nautilus mollusc shell, rendered through sweeping curves and undulating contours in polished stainless steel. Designed by Adam Cornish, the piece reflects the natural geometry of its source material while the steel construction brings a refined, industrial quality to the finish. Designed by Adam Cornish in his first collaboration with Italian brand Alessi the 'Trinity' collection draws inspiration from the forms and shapes found in the nautilus mollusc. As such, the sinuous spiral structure of the invertebrate's shell is elaborated by way of dramatic swoops and undulating curves, as seen in the Australian designer's 'Trinity' centrepiece. The natural element of the stainless steel vessel's origins are fully evident and are in complete harmony with the modern industrial production process that brought it to life. The result introduces a striking flourish to settings and invites viewers to come closer to explore the item's many nuances.
