ES16 Jar 0,75 l - Red, Beech Wood with Airtight Lid

The ES16 jar features an airtight seal formed by its unusual lid, a hallmark of Ettore Sottsass's design approach. Its intense red finish is paired with a beech wood construction, while the sculptural lid form adds a distinctive accent to the kitchen.

What makes the ES16 jar by Alessi so special is the absolutely unusual lid, which forms its airtight seal. You can tell right away that Ettore Sottsass had a hand in it! It is intensely coloured and made of beech wood.
