The Berkeley Nordic Oak Dining Bench combines a Scandi-inspired aesthetic with traditional woodworking construction, featuring a solid oak frame with gently curved corners and sleek edges. The timber is wire-brushed to draw out the natural grain before receiving a hand-applied clear wax finish, preserving the subtle grain traces unique to each piece. Mortise and tenon joinery throughout the frame provides superior structural strength, ensuring long-term durability under regular use. No two benches are identical, as the natural oak grain varies across every individual piece.
A classic contemporary design with all the comforts of beautifully crafted woodwork, this relaxed dining bench epitomises easy family living. Spacious and open seating blends with a fresh, natural finish, while the solid wood frame promises unwavering durability. All working together to create a welcoming, "gather round" feeling. A Scandi inspired take on timeless wood furniture, Berkeley Nordic Oak's gently curved corners contrast against sleek edges and cool undertones to bring new life to our favourite timber. The oak is given a hand-applied clear wax finish to retain the subtle natural grain that traces every piece. We use traditional woodworking methods, like mortise and tenon solid wood frames for superior strength and Dovetail-jointed drawers for added resilience. Supplied with a choice of two handles, its understated style suits both modern and classic homes. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is carefully wire-brushed to bring out the grain and give a mid-century-inspired appearance. It is then finished with clear wax to protect the oak's subtle, natural grain traces.
