Bash Large Decorative Vessel - Gold, Brass

The Bash vessel features distinctive character with its annealed brass construction, beaten by hand into an expressive, uneven form. Its unlacquered finish allows the warm gold surface to develop a natural patina over time, giving each piece a unique appearance. The beaten metal technique creates organic proportions, while the brass material adds structural integrity and visual depth.

Made of brass, one of Tom Dixon’s signature materials, this vessel is formed by hand by beating a thin metal sheet into an expressive form. As it is not lacquered, its warm gold finish will slowly develop a unique patina over time. Also available in a smaller version, the vessel is a vase, fruit bowl and contemporary sculpture all in one.
