The Misfits vase offers sculptural appeal with its series of bulges and bumps that create a surreal, tactile surface. Cut from white ceramic, the hard material gives the impression of something more supple and organic. The rope-like impression around its center adds visual interest while appearing to encourage the natural overspill effect. This beautifully unconventional piece reinterprets traditional vessel design with its distinctive curved form.
Taken from a collection of vessels by Completedworks in which traditional notions of sculpture are reinterpreted, the 'Misfits' vase is a beautifully surreal piece that beckons to be touched. Cut from white ceramic and defined by a series of bulges and bumps, the hard vase gives the impression of a more supple material, enhanced by the impression of a tight rope around its center, which appears to encourage the overspill.
