The Two Misfits vase set provides sculptural drama with matching vessels that feature distinctive bulges and bumps across their surfaces. Both pieces are cut from white ceramic yet give the impression of a more supple, organic material through their curved forms. Each vase displays a rope-like impression around its center that appears to encourage the overspill effect. This surreal duo reinterprets traditional vessel design with beautifully unconventional shapes.
Taken from a collection of vessels by Completedworks in which traditional notions of sculpture are reinterpreted, the 'Two Misfits' duo is a beautifully surreal set of vases that beckons to be touched. Cut from white ceramic and defined by a series of bulges and bumps, both of the hard vases give the impression of a more supple material, enhanced by the impression of a tight rope around each of their centers, appearing to encourage the overspill.
