The 'BODARU (The Room We Make)' artwork by Ulrika Segerberg offers an original figurative composition created in oil paint on linen. The linen ground provides a textured, matte surface that interacts distinctly with the oil medium, adding a tactile quality to the figurative subject. Segerberg's work draws from myths, folk tales, and popular culture, combining influences across painting and textiles in a practice developed between Sweden and Berlin.
