The Drum 3, Water Zone Series by Day Bowman features an original abstract composition created with a mix of oil paint and oil stick on canvas. Inspired by coastal landscapes from a seaside upbringing, the work blends abstract and figurative elements with a layered, textured quality. The oil stick application adds depth and gestural detail, while the canvas ground provides a sturdy, gallery-worthy foundation. Day Bowman is a multi-award-winning artist recognised for her experimental approach to mixed media painting.
