The Seletti Message mirror features a frame composed of blue wooden blocks animated with turquoise accents, drawing on the pixelated aesthetic of retro arcade technology. Designed by Roberto Bruno, the arrangement of blocks creates an intentional blurring effect around the frame, which contrasts with the clarity of the reflected image at its centre. The wooden block construction gives the frame a tactile, three-dimensional quality that adds visual depth to the piece.
This bold mirror reflects designer Roberto Bruno’s nostalgia for the videogames of the 1980s and 90s. Drawing on memories of summers in arcades, Seletti's series of 'Pixel' mirrors captures the aesthetic and mood of retro technology. The frame of 'Message' is composed of blue wooden blocks animated with turquoise. The illusion of blurring creates a clever juxtaposition with a clear reflected image when the mirror is gazed into. A bright and energetic addition to spaces, 'Message' adds a sense of fun and inimitable Seletti style to interiors.
