The Les Grands Trans-Parents mirror features screen-printed text directly onto its reflective surface, recreating the iconic phrase from Man Ray's celebrated artwork. The printed words merge with the reflected image, creating a layered visual effect that blends typography with reflection. Its flat mirror construction keeps the focus on the surface treatment, where the text interacts with whatever is being reflected in front of it.
A recreation of the text featured in one of artist Man Ray's most famous works, Cassina's 'Les Grands Trans-Parents' applies an iconic piece of text to a mirror for an unexpected touch in any room. Screen-printed on the surface of the mirror, the words 'Les Grands Trans-Parents' merge with whatever is being reflected — an original and creative interpretation of the work of the multitalented American painter, photographer and film- maker who himself was a huge proponent of experimentation.
