The Laceflower Wallpaper features a nature-inspired design originally created by C.F.A. Voysey around 1895, depicting birds perched among flowing stems and flowerheads. Its characteristic sense of gentle movement is achieved through the rhythmic arrangement of botanical motifs across the surface. The saturated green colorway reinforces the organic quality of the pattern, with simple, bold tones that give the design visual clarity and depth.
From around 1895, C.F.A. Voysey gives us Laceflower. Swaying in an imagined wind, Voysey's characteristic birds chirp among the stems and flowerheads. The gentle movement in the pattern is emphasised by simple, saturated colour stories. Laceflower Wallpaper by Morris & Co. in Green at Anthropologie
