High Candlestick - Black, Forged Iron

The candlestick combines traditional forged iron construction with contemporary design sensibilities. Its tall profile creates dramatic height for candle displays, while the hand-forged metalwork produces unique surface variations. The black iron finish enhances the raw material character, and the sturdy base ensures stable support for standard candles.

Taken from Konstantin Grcic's 'Officina' collection for Magis, this candlestick is one of a number of pieces from the series that feature a forged iron structure. In incorporating this centuries-old technique, this high candlestick presents a profoundly refined and elegant spirit, characterised by the slight imperfections that usually arise when working with raw materials.
