Complot Candleholder - Ivory, Stoneware

The Complot candleholder combines sculptural form with an innovative production process, designed by Wang & Söderström. Each piece is first 3D printed before being moulded in stoneware at a ceramic factory, resulting in a distinctive organic shape that carries the precision of digital design into a tactile material. The stoneware construction gives the vessel a solid, weighty presence while its fluid contours add visual interest as a standalone object.

Designed by Wang & Söderström for Hay, the 'Complot' candleholder is miniature piece of art. Inspired by the space where digital and physical forms meet, the vessel is first 3D printed before being moulded in stoneware at a ceramic factory. The result is a wholly sculptural piece whose organic shape and original aesthetic belies it's uber-modern technological production process.
