The Tema E Variazioni N.409 wall plate features the iconic face of opera singer Lina Cavalieri, reimagined to celebrate the 2025 Lunar Year of the Snake. A serpent adorned with gold dots winds around the portrait, rendered in black and white with fine detail, while Cavalieri's neutral gaze meets the viewer directly. The viper's head rests above her eye, creating a striking compositional balance between the figurative portrait and the serpentine motif. Suitable for wall display or table use, the plate is part of Fornasetti's long-running collectable series.
