The 'Roma' wall sculpture celebrates traditional Roman stone pavements with a modular five-piece construction cast in bronze. Inspired by the 'sampietrini' cobblestones found in Rome's historic district and St. Peter's Square, the pieces are held together by a hand-crafted bronze net. The brown and red iteration brings warm tonal depth to the design, while the modular format allows flexible wall installation.
A modular bronze sculpture, 'Roma' celebrates traditional Roman stone pavements found in the historic district of Rome and St. Peter's Square. These stones or "sampietrini" — shown here in the brown and red iteration of the design, for installation on the wall — are replicated in this fine five-piece sculpture by Federica Cammarota, held together by a hand-crafted bronze net.
