The Antipatico vase features a hand-decorated porcelain surface depicting two renditions of opera singer Lina Cavalieri's face — one winking and one with a tongue poked out — rendered in intricate black detailing against white porcelain. Part of the Tema e Variazioni collection, the curvaceous ceramic vessel combines fine craftsmanship with distinctive illustrative detail.
