The Mid Century Hand-Painted Vase features a bold multicolour palette applied directly onto stoneware, drawing from mid-century design sensibilities where colour carries deliberate visual weight. Each piece is hand-painted, meaning subtle variations in brushwork and tone are inherent to the construction. At 26cm in height, it holds a single stem with presence or stands as an object in its own right alongside quieter shelf arrangements.
The shelf that has held the same neutral objects for three years, and then doesn't. Hand-painted on stoneware, this piece draws its palette from the mid-century confidence that colour in a room is a position, not a decoration — the sweep of a single stem made suddenly deliberate by the vessel holding it. At 26cm it works beside quieter pieces or alone. The kind of vase that any Memphis lover would appreciate.
