The Delft Rectangle Tulipiere draws on the hand-painted earthenware tradition of 17th-century Dutch Delft, featuring a cobalt-on-cream palette applied by hand and kiln-fired. Its rectangular silhouette provides a structured form suited to seasonal flower arrangements, with the multi-spout design allowing individual stem placement. The ceramic construction carries the weight and finish characteristic of traditional Delftware.
There are objects you acquire, and objects that arrive. This is the latter. Inspired by the masterwork earthenware of 17th-century Dutch Delft — cobalt on cream, painted by hand, fired with intention — our Rectangle Tulipière is designed for a single purpose: to hold the season's flowers and make everything else in the room feel considered by association. There is a reason it is our most collected piece. You will find these in the Rjksmuseum
