The vase combines soft, flowing curves with its distinctive human-inspired form. Hand-glazed ceramic material provides smooth texture and enduring quality, while the medium size works well for various arrangements. Its sculptural design adds artistic character through playful, organic shapes.
Inspired by the Cobra Arts movement of the 1960s, 101 Copenhagen's 'Cobra' collection brings together a series of vases defined by soft and consistent shapes. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the vases are evolved from an assortment of sketches where human-like silhouettes were outlined in contrast to architectural components. The result is an absurd and playful family of vessels cut from hand glazed ceramic.
