The Cobra Double Medium Vase provides a bold sculptural presence with its dual-form silhouette, inspired by the Cobra Arts movement of the 1960s. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the piece is hand-glazed ceramic with soft, consistent curves that reference human-like outlines set against architectural shapes. The coffee-toned glaze delivers a warm, earthy finish across the vessel's smooth surface.
Inspired by the Cobra Arts movement of the 1960s, 101 Copenhagen's 'Cobra' collection brings together a series of vases defined by soft and consistent shapes. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the vases are evolved from an assortment of sketches where human-like silhouettes were outlined in contrast to architectural components. The result is an absurd and playful family of vessels cut from hand glazed ceramic.
